On Thursday, October 13th, the Early College Choir and the CHS Choirs will come together for an evening of exciting vocal music! Also featured are the middle school choirs-- CIS PR Leyva and CIS Alta Vista. This is an annual tradition that Choir students at all campuses look forward to each year. These groups learn a few pieces independently to perform on stage at PR Leyva, and the high school choirs have rehearsed one particular piece to perform together-- "Zigeunerleben," a German work by Robert Schumann that is this year's audition piece for New Mexico All-State Choir. Recent "Solo and Ensemble Festival" winners from CECHS and CHS will also be recognized at the event.
Directors, Mrs. Destiny Romero, Mrs. Robin Irving, and Ms. Riva Scheck along with Collaborative Pianist, Mr. Nick Harvey invite you to this wonderful gala of choral music. It all happens Thursday, October 13th, at 7 PM in the PR Leyva Auditorium.
