Congrats to CECHS Senior, Sierra Spencer, for being named AAUW Student of the Month!
Her story is featured in the January P3, 2022 edition of the Carlsbad Local Paper which shared the following details:
"Sierra Spencer is the daughter of Dan and Christina Spencer. She has one sibling, Nathan Spencer (15.) Sierra plans to attend a four-year university to obtain her Bachelor's and Master's degrees and then join the Christian Challenge to enter the Missions Field.
Sierra Spencer is Vice President of the Carlsbad Early College National Honor Society, a member of the church worship band as a guitarist, a CECHS intern, and a Melrose Associate. Sierra has received all A's -- a 4.0 GPA every year, is valedictorian, a National Honor Society member, an Outstanding Spanish Excellence award, a Commitment to Future Success award, a Quarter 4 Week 8 Core Values-- Hard Work, and Silver rank in WorkKeys."
